  1. The top tier is usually the least stable of the layers. There’s a chance of toppling it if you cut the top. The lower tiers are much more stable. Also the couple may want to follow tradition and save the top tier for their first anniversary.

  2. its sad but thats the size that bakers will make it too as generally you make a cake for how many guests you have so the baker calcualtes the size per inch slice.

  3. Wouldnt it look sad if you had all that cake and than you slice just a tiny cubicle as a symbol.. thats a symbol of stinginess, i would say..

  4. for this video you wasted a whole nice wedding cake! it hurts watching… poor baker who made it. 🙁

  5. Just sayin’ ….. if i’m going to pay thousands of dollars on my wedding day and even on the cake; i think i deserve a big fat piece.

  6. thank you so much cause i’m making a wedding cake and need to know in case they want me to stay and cut the rest and i’m gonna be starting a business soon and am having a hard time how much to charge i work from cupcakes to birthday cakes to now my first wedding cake but am very nervous when people ask me how much its just that question that makes me just quiver

  7. Well, I see no reason for reproaches concerning this video! It’s not always that the couple is given instructions on how actually they should cut their cake. Sometimes it can be a tricky experience. So it’s a good tutorial!
